blog dumb is the new awesome

Exciting things are happening in Dumbrella-land: Jon Rosenberg is offering some exclusive Goats content via Bitpass; Andy Bell has some incredible custom toys and prints on display at the Nucleus Gallery in Los Angeles as part of the Crossover gallery show; John Allison’s Scary Go Round guest fortnight is in full swing; Jeff Rowland’s Wigu & Overcompensating’s “Crisis on Infinite Butter Dimensions” crossover just recently came to a close; rstevens deals with Indie Rock Pete’s (possible?) real name (I only just discovered the real Indie Rock Pete’s music blog); and Sam Brown continues to be awesome.

There have also been other and less productive things going on in the webcomics community that I would prefer not to mention, because giving credence to trolls (even the high-profile ones) gives them the attention that they seem to so desperately crave, which only serves to perpetuate that kind of behaviour.

I am going to be down in New York for this year’s MoCCA Festival, which should be interesting, as this will be my first MoCCA experience. I’ve heard many good things about it. I’ll be driving down with some cool kids, and I’ll be hanging out at the Flight booth as usual, so if you’re in the area, why not stop by and say hello?
